Turn Time on, because I keep getting "<Time Disabled>"
You must turn on QuickTime 4 as the audio engine (see below). The default MP3 engine does not support time.
Use QuickTime 4 to play my MP3s and other sound files
Assuming you have QuickTime 4 installed, you can select Use QuickTime as player in the General Preferences tab. Then just Quit and re-launch GrayAMP.

Set my own Key-Bindings
Click Set Key Bindings button in the Interface tab of the Preferences. Then type the character you wish to be the key-binding. You will have to be careful that you don't assign something that is already taken (like Command-O).

Use the "Prev" button when Shuffle is on
To do this, you use your memory. To go back, you ask yourself "Hmm, what was the last song playing?", then double click on that song in the Playlist.
The Playlist
Add a song to the Playlist
You can Select Open Song from File menu,
Or you can Drag & Drop the song from the Finder.
If GrayAMP is not adding your song to the Playlist, turn Strict File Adding off in the Preferences.
Add a folder of songs to the Playlist
Drag & Drop a folder from the Finder onto the Playlist. GrayAMP may not accept all aliases if Strict File Adding is on.
To adjust how "deep" the folders are scanned, use the menu on the Advanced tab in the Preferences.
Remove a song from the Playlist
Select the song in the Playlist, and hit the Delete key. If the song is playing, the next one (if any) will be started.

Sort the Playlist by Name/Played Status/Reverse Order
The Played/Name/Reverse buttons above the Playlist do a One-Time sort of the Playlist. One-Time meaning that the Playlist is sorted once, and not again until you click a Sort button again. This is different from the Finder-list views, where sorting is Sticky.
Rearrange items in the Playlist
You can rearrange individual items in the Playlist by dragging them up or down.
Clear the Playlist
To clear all items in the Playlist, select Clear Playlist from the File or Contextual Menu.
Save a Playlist
Select Save Playlist from the File or Contextual Menu,
Or click the Save button in the Player window.

Load a Playlist at startup
You can have GrayAMP open a Playlist at startup if you:
1) Name it GrayAMP Default Playlist
2) Keep it in the same folder as GrayAMP
3) Have Use Default Playlist turned on in the Preferences
